This is a very slow-moving, and at times farcical, look at coping with a child with autism. 

Felix is the story of a young boy who finds his way in a life that attempts to steer him in every direction except the one which he wishes to go. 

This is by far one of the best films to come to VIFF.

Canadian filmmaker Matthew Kowalchuk's Lawrence and Holloman is a contemporary take on the rat race seen through the eyes of two completely different perspectives: one terminally negative, and one excruciatingly positive.

This is a slow moving, cleverly written story about an elderly man convinced he has won a million dollar sweepstake.
