This is by far the best line up of short films this year, with the horrifically real, 45 Degrees, about the lengths a man is forced to go to, to support his family; Ellen is Leaving, a story about the difficulty of letting go, no matter how well intended; Genital Extreme Close-up, Prologue to a Romantic Comedy, an amusing look at the dynamics of a one-night stand; Ms. Belvedere, about one woman's unique method of purging emotional baggage; Social Media Anonymous, about a hilarious group of media addicts discussing their addictions; and Sweet Rabbit, a Kafkaesque look at a lonely housewife's adaptation to her new appendages, to name a few. If you catch one day of shorts, this should be it.
