This line up of short films was an interesting mix that ranged from ok to exceptional, the majority resting in the latter column.
By far the best of the line up was Method; a film about an interrogation. It was brilliant, fresh, and with a twist that had the crowd yelling in rapture. Sunday Punch was also a very clever film that got a burst of applause from the audience once the twist was revealed. The devastating Destroyer, by local protege Kevan Funk, was the line ups' heaviest hitter with the most powerful scene off camera, proving talent, story, and the power of suggestion definitely wins out over gore and CGI.
